WHO readers have pointed it out. Red carpet commentators have pointed it out. But apparently,

no one has pointed out that she’s an Amal Clooney lookalike to Anne Hathaway yet — she was surprised to hear it during an interview promoting her film Song One.

Extra host Tracey Edmonds told Hathaway in an interview that people were buzzing about her striking resemblance to the new Mrs. George Clooney. And Hathaway appeared genuinely shocked.

“I’ve never heard that, but thank you!” the actress said, bringing a hand to her chest in surprise. “That’s, like, so going to be the best thing that happens to me today.”

She went on to compliment the accomplished human rights lawyer.

“I hope that I become half the woman that she is — she’s so accomplished, and it’s so thrilling to look at someone and and be like, ‘Oh, you really are making the world a better place.’”
