Highly acclaimed actress Anne Hathaway has been named the Global Ambassador for Shiseido’s VITAL PERFECTION skincare series. 

The partnership with the Academy Award-winning Hollywood icon aims to celebrate inner beauty at every stage of life. 

The collaboration involves a unique art film directed by Luigi & Lango, featuring Hathaway, 

which explores the concept of inner potential through illuminating sunshine, finely balanced between darkness and light.

The skincare series, born after extensive research on anti-aging skincare for Asian skin, works in harmony with the skin’s natural processes to nourish 

and enhance its glow at any age. Anne Hathaway’s partnership with Shiseido is set to inspire individuals to unlock their inner potential and appreciate true beauty.

Popspoken: What is your personal philosophy on beauty, and how has it evolved over the years?

Anne Hathaway: Drinking water and staying hydrated is so important. I believe that my skin looks its best when it is nourished. which starts from within. Sunscreen is also important – I love spending time outdoors but try to avoid any excessive exposure to the sun.

Popspoken: In your partnership with SHISEIDO, “Potential Has No Age” is a central message. Can you tell us about an experience in your own life or career where you’ve defied age-related expectations and accomplished something significant?

Anne Hathaway: To me, the concept of ‘Potential Has No Age’ means not limiting yourself ever, especially not because of age. Despite some very messaging that we – especially women – have been subjected to, age simply is not a barrier for self-growth and personal development. The way I feel about it at this stage of my life, is that there is no “peak age” that should be valued above any other. Hopefully we’re always becoming more ourselves. I feel it’s vital to always be exploring our ownpotential for as long as we are lucky enough to be alive.

Popspoken: What personal skincare routine or practices have you found to be most effective in maintaining healthy and radiant skin throughout your career in the entertainment industry?

Anne Hathaway: A skincare routine is personal, but I have found that a great quality moisturizer is crucial. I love VITAL PERFECTION Uplifting and Firming Cream which I use at night.
