According to the Evening Standard, eBay’s retail report shows that Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton 

has a greater influence on people’s shopping habits than Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. 

Whatever she wears, people search for it online more than any other member of the Royal Family.

However, this does not mean that Princess Meghan’s fashion is not attractive and influential. 

The handbags, dresses, shoes, suits or any accessories Meghan wears quickly sell out. However, Meghan still has to give in to Kate Middleton’s strong appeal.

The Evening Standard also reported that Kate Middleton’s items are always the most searched for by the public. 

For example, the phrase “maternity coat” was searched three times more in November 2017 when Kate was pregnant with Prince Louis. When Kate wore a red Jenny Packham dress in her first public appearance with Prince Louis, the phrase “Jenny Packham design” was searched twice as much.

This report also pointed out that, through eBay, all the fashion brands that Princess Kate Middleton loves, including Jenny Packham, Alexander McQueen, and Seraphine, have to thank the Duchess of Cambridge because their sales skyrocketed after she wore them.
