On Tuesday night, Season 19 of AGT premiered with all of the judges returning: Sofia Vergara, 51, Heidi Klum, 50, Simon Cowell, 64, Howie Mandel, 68, and host Terry Crews, 55.

Nearing the second hour of the reality competition show, dancer Ashlee Montague, 33, put her twist on ballet.
She revealed to Terry that she was practicing ballet since she was 4 years old.
“The challenges of ballet are incredibly grueling. People have told me I’m too tall, too short, too big, too everything.

“This is my dream, and if someone else doesn’t see it that’s okay. They close the door, I’ll climb through a window.

“That’s why I’m so excited about America’s Got Talent [where] I can be uniquely me and you really can pave your own way.”

She also said that she was training non-stop for a month for her AGT act to impress herself, the judges, the audience, and the watchers at home.
“I’ve never trained harder for anything.”
GIVING IT HER ALL
After being questioned by Sofia, however, Simon was quite skeptical of Ashlee’s performance.
“Nobody actually likes the ballet,” the former American Idol judge said, “I hate it. I went to one once and I lasted about two minutes.”

Ashlee began dancing to a song from Swan Lake then graciously danced towards a staircase that led up to several wine bottles.
She completely shocked the judges by aiming to balance on the tops of the bottles in her ballet shoes.
Once she was on top of two of the glasses, she began to wobble but tried her best to regain her balance.
While moving on to the next bottle, the dancer unfortunately stepped off the glass.
Once she fell, she stepped off and started over.

She did her best to get back on the glass but she lost her balance and had to try again.
In the middle of watching her, Simon said, “She’s not gonna do it.”
However, Ashlee proved him wrong.
After her second mistake, she made it all the way through without another incident.
‘YOU MADE BALLET DANGEROUS’
Once Ashlee got off the bottles and realized that she made it through, she began to cry.

“It was very intense,” Sofia said, “We didn’t know what was going to happen. I mean, we saw at the beginning was very difficult for you.
“It was not easy and you kept going. You were great!”
Simon said, “I said to Sofia beforehand I actually can’t bear the ballet or opera actually. However, now you’ve found a way of making it interesting.
“That’s one of the most difficult acts I’ve seen for a long time.”
Heidi agreed with her co-judges and was thrilled to see Ashlee emotional and proud of what she did.

“You were on point, which is really tough to do. You made ballet so dangerous,” Howie chimed in.
By the end of their critiques, all four judges gave Ashlee a Yes.
After the ballet dancer left the stage, Simon was still wowed by her performance and wanted to investigate more about the bottles.
“I mean, seriously?” he questioned. “That’s impossible.”
