Former football player David Beckham admitted that getting married and having children at the age of 23 is lucky because he can share important achievements in his career with his wife and children.

Becks is a guest on the latest podcast SmartLess, which will air on May 20. The 49-year-old former British football player spent a lot of time talking about his marriage with Victoria.

Now, after 27 years of love and marriage to Vic, Beck admits he still gets emotional when watching the couple’s previous documentaries.

They have gone through years of ups and downs together and celebrate their silver wedding anniversary next July.

“Even now, when I look back at those documents, I still don’t know how we got through 27 years.

When you’re with someone for so long, there will be ups and downs, but everyone knows we’re still happy.” happy together,” Becks shared.

Becks and Vic dated in 1997 before getting married in 1999. Also in 1999, the couple welcomed their first son, Brooklyn, into the world. The former MU midfielder said that having a child is a new chapter in his and his wife’s life.

“Vic is a Spice Girl singer and I play for MU. Even though we went through really difficult times, we always cared for each other and that’s important. When we got to know each other, we only 21-22 years old and married at 23-24 years old. Our first son Brooklyn was born when I was 23 years old,” Becks added.

The former England star admitted that getting married and having children early was his luck: “I was lucky to meet Vic at the right time because I always wanted to have children so they could watch me play. I’m lucky that all three of my sons witnessed most of my playing time on football teams. It’s a very important part of my life.”

Becks affirmed that he is very happy with his current life with his wife and children. After retiring, the former England captain continued to have a successful career by maintaining cooperation with many fashion and cosmetic brands. He is currently the President of Inter Miami Club in the US Professional League, the team that owns superstar Lionel Messi.
