Whether it’s a chic switch up in colour or a new style, you can rely on Beyoncé to serve up the type of luxe hair looks.
That double your chances of getting an upgrade to first class on a flight. Case in point: her new butter bronde hair, worn in flowing waves that cascade past her shoulders.
Beyoncé has rarely been seen in public after releasing her new album Cowboy Carter in March.
And hasn’t attended a red carpet event since the iHeart Radio Music Awards on April 1.
But she made a welcome return to Instagram on June 6 with a glamorous slideshow and reel, set to the tune of her track with Shaboozey SWEET ★ HONEY ★ BUCKIIN’.
That reveal her striking new hair.
Wearing a low-cut, floor-sweeping floral dress, a brown leather belt and cut off denim shorts, she can be seen playfully donning aviator sunglasses and a beige cowboy hat in some shots. But the focus was kept on her bouncy curls in a summer-ready hue that has just set the tone for this season’s hair trends.
Bey has been experimenting with different shades of ultra blonde hair for a while now, most recently with an icy blonde ‘beyhive’, where her long strands were thrown up into a retro bouffant and French twist.
Her super-long, butt-length platinum hair and voluminous Super Bowl ‘Texan hair’ are also notable iterations on the blonde theme.
But now it seems Beyoncé is in what we’re calling her ‘butter bronde’ era after giving us a 360-degree view of her waist-length hair, where fulled-bodied waves make a feature of the buttermilk money pieces that softly frame her face.
Elsewhere, her hair sits on the lighter end of the bronde spectrum, making it the perfect mix of dark blonde, brunette, a golden shade and light blonde for a more natural-looking finish. Strategically-placed, finely-spun butter blonde strands give the overall look a sun-kissed feel.
Beyoncé paired the look with a neutral makeup palette, which includes a glossy nude lip, a bronze sheen on the cheeks and black eyeliner. Obsessed doesn’t even begin to cover it.
