Blake Lively Calls Justin Baldoni a ‘Creep’: 4 Explosive Details from Her Amended Complaint

Blake Lively has intensified her legal battle against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni by filing an amended complaint that contains new allegations of misconduct.

The lawsuit, originally filed in December, accuses Baldoni of sexual harassment, retaliation, and infliction of emotional distress.

In her latest filing on February 18, Lively expands on these claims, revealing new details that include allegations of secret recordings,

inappropriate comments, and disturbing threats from a top financier associated with the film.

Baldoni, who has denied all accusations, responded by filing a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of defamation and civil extortion.

As the legal battle escalates, four explosive allegations from Lively’s 141-page amended complaint stand out.

1. Secret Recordings of Women on Set

In her filing, Lively alleges that Baldoni secretly recorded two actresses on set without their knowledge or consent. The complaint states that these women later confided in Lively about their discomfort regarding Baldoni and executive producer Jamey Heath, who they claimed had also engaged in inappropriate behavior.

The filing details an incident in which Baldoni allegedly made an inappropriate remark about a female cast member’s wardrobe. Lively also recalls a moment when Baldoni asked her if he had ever crossed a line. When she responded affirmatively, he reportedly joked, “I must’ve missed the sexual harassment meeting.”

These allegations suggest a broader pattern of behavior on set that, according to Lively, created an uncomfortable and unsafe work environment for multiple women involved in the film.

2. Lively Described Baldoni as a ‘Creep’

Text messages included in the amended complaint reveal Lively’s personal thoughts about Baldoni and Heath. In one exchange with a mutual friend, Lively described both men as “creeps” and “clowns,” expressing frustration over their behavior on set.

“I was gonna invite you to set tomorrow. These people. Whoa… It’s like HR nuts today,” she allegedly wrote. “The both of them. I wasn’t expecting that turn. I mean, it’s been present, but today I came home and cried.”

Lively’s messages suggest that she had been struggling with the alleged misconduct for some time before taking legal action. In another text, she emphasized her discomfort, stating, “I don’t want it. I don’t want your gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife. Yeah. It’s shocking. Clowns.”

3. Disturbing Hamas Comparison from Film Financier

One of the most alarming claims in the amended complaint involves Steve Sarowitz, a co-founder and major financier of Wayfarer Studios, the company behind It Ends With Us. Lively’s lawsuit alleges that Sarowitz made disturbing remarks comparing his willingness to protect the studio to Israel’s military actions against Hamas.

According to the lawsuit, Sarowitz told a third party, “If Ms. Lively or Mr. Reynolds ever cross the line, ever, then I will go after them.” He allegedly continued, “I will protect the studio like Israel protected itself from Hamas. There were 39,000 dead bodies. There will be two dead bodies when I’m done. Minimum. Not dead, but you’re dead to me. So that kind of dead. But dead to a lot of people.”

Sarowitz reportedly made these comments at the film’s New York premiere, where he also claimed he was prepared to spend $100 million to “ruin the lives” of Lively and Reynolds. These statements, if proven true, could have serious legal implications beyond the civil lawsuit.

4. Lively Claims She’s ‘Not Alone’ in Her Allegations

Lively’s legal team has emphasized that she was not the only one on set who experienced or witnessed inappropriate behavior. Attorneys Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb stated that the complaint includes “significant contemporaneous evidence” showing that other women raised concerns about Baldoni and Heath more than a year before the film was released.

A spokesperson for Lively further asserted that these women were afraid to come forward due to potential backlash. The complaint does not publicly identify them, but it states that they have given Lively permission to share their accounts in the amended filing. The spokesperson added that these witnesses are prepared to testify and provide documents during the legal process.

Baldoni’s Response: ‘Unsubstantiated Hearsay’

Baldoni’s legal team has dismissed Lively’s amended complaint as baseless. His attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated that her claims are built on “hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims.”

Freedman also argued that Baldoni has provided “real-time documents and video” that contradict Lively’s accusations, insisting that the actress and her husband have been manipulating and “cherry-picking” information for the media.

As both parties dig in for what is shaping up to be a prolonged legal battle, the allegations continue to raise serious questions about on-set conduct, workplace safety, and the power dynamics within Hollywood productions. With additional witnesses expected to testify, the case could take even more dramatic turns in the coming months.
