Brandi Glanville, known for her time on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has opened up about the struggles she continues to face regarding her health.

The reality TV personality, 52, revealed that her ongoing medical issues have left her feeling miserable, particularly as her facial disfigurement worsens despite multiple treatments.
In an emotional update shared on social media, Glanville admitted she has been putting on a brave face while battling her condition.
“I’ve been faking it, I’m f**king miserable,” she wrote.

She went on to express her frustration with her deteriorating appearance, saying, “My face is worse than ever. It’s literally melted away.”

Adding to her distress, Glanville also shared that her best friend has been in the ICU for two weeks with no signs of improvement, further compounding her emotional turmoil.

Glanville has been struggling with an apparent facial parasite, a condition that has drastically impacted her life. Initially, she saw positive results when doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center placed her on IV antibiotics and antifungal medications. However, she revealed that she was unable to continue with the prescribed treatment due to financial constraints. “I was getting better. I looked normal, but I couldn’t afford to stay on them,” she explained.
Her frustration with the healthcare system was evident as she detailed her struggle to find adequate medical care. She was forced to seek doctors outside of her insurance network after those within her coverage were unable to provide answers or effective treatment. “I need my life to change. That is my real-life health update,” she stated candidly.
Glanville has since turned to renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow for assistance. The doctor, known for his work on “Botched,” has performed four biopsies in an attempt to better understand the underlying cause of her condition. In a recent update to a follower on social media, Glanville shared that, while the results showed no signs of cancer, further testing was still required. “The cultures take six weeks to grow, so no news yet but fingers crossed,” she noted.

Over the past several months, Glanville has explored various treatment options in hopes of finding relief. Among these, she has undergone lymphatic drainage therapy—a treatment that involves vibrating massage techniques to stimulate fluid movement, relieve pain, and prevent further complications.
The reality star has openly discussed the financial burden that her health issues have placed on her, revealing that she has spent over $70,000 trying to identify the cause of her facial disfigurement. Despite her efforts, she remains desperate for answers.
In December 2024, Glanville spoke about her journey, describing how she resumed taking antibiotics after noticing that her face was beginning to “sink in.” She admitted to preferring the look of her face when it was swollen, as opposed to the extreme asymmetry she now experiences. “When it’s only swollen on one side, it’s not great. But the sinking in thing is killing me slowly because I just feel like I look like a crackhead,” she said.

Her battle with her condition has taken an emotional toll, and she has expressed her desperation for a resolution. “I want an answer so desperately. You could do anything you want to me, and I’d be OK with it,” she admitted, emphasizing that she has had only brief moments of looking “normal” before symptoms return.
Glanville’s transparency about her health struggles has resonated with her fans, many of whom have shown support and encouragement. As she continues searching for the right treatment, she remains hopeful that she will find the answers she needs to regain her confidence and well-being.
