It’s been three months since Jennifer Lawrence’s boyfriend popped the big question.

Now, Lawrence, 28, and Cooke Maroney, 34, are starting their wedding preparations with sources for People saying the event will be a ‘family affair.’

According to the magazine, the pair have already started scouting locations.

An insider for the outlet said the lovebirds have been checking out different venues for an engagement party.

In fact, they’ve already checked out two luxury hotels in New York City earlier in the month. 

Discussing how the Red Sparrow star is a ‘family girl,’ another source said: ‘I would be surprised if the wedding were not a fairly extensive family affair.’

Previously, sources claimed that the Dior model was planning her nuptials at a historic estate in her hometown of Louisville, but her rep shut down those rumors. 

Both herald from towns outside of the hustle and bustle of NYC, with the Oscar winner originally from Kentucky and the art collector’s family owning a farm in Vermont. 

In June, the pair confirmed they were dating and have been seen out at lavish dinner dates since then.

Back in February, they enjoyed a fancy meal to ring in their engagement at Raoul’s, an upscale French restaurant on Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.

‘It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it,’ an onlooker at the restaurant said. 

Jennifer’s ring features an emerald-cut stone perched on a gold band, which was designed by New York City-based jeweler Alison Lou.   

The star is notoriously private about her personal life and only confirmed her engagement after people spotted her wearing the ring.  

The couple had dated for eight months when Maroney dropped to one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.

Cooke works at New York’s Gladstone Gallery, which represents artists including Lena Dunham’s dad, Carroll Dunham, as well as Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, and Bjork’s ex, Matthew Barney. 

Jennifer is also juggling numerous projects on top of wedding planning.

Soon, fans can expect to catch her in three new films, Bad Blood, an Untitled Lila Neugebauer Project and Dark Phoenix.

Dark Phoenix continues the X-Men story starring Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain.
