Dolly Parton shocked fans by unexpectedly putting her Petite Mountain retreat up for sale for $585,000, sparking speculation about her financial difficulties

Is there nothing she can’t do?

An 1,800-square-foot cottage belonging to country music superstar Dolly Parton has just been sold for $585,000.

The sweet and rustic three-bedroom, 2.5-bath abode is located in the San Jacinto mountains in Idyllwild, CA.

Parton has owned this three-story cottage on a quarter-acre for decades.

It was listed in 2014 for $599,000 but did not sell. It came back on the market in June for $500,000 and was sold a month later for a higher amount.

A lofty ceiling and stone fireplace dominate the living room. The cabin style leans Craftsman with midbrown tones, wood floors, and exposed beams.

The simple kitchen has a small counter extension and opens to the dining area. The sleep spaces, one on each floor, have their own living areas and bathrooms, one of which sports a cheeky guitar-shaped toilet lid.

The home comes with an adorable swing attached to an ancient cedar in the rear of the property. The location is within walking distance of Marion Creek.

A multiple Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Fame member, Parton has enjoyed massive success over her decades-long career, selling more than 100 million records around the world.

Among her many greatest hits are “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors,” and “9 to 5.”

Recently, Parton has ventured into the rock genre with her 49th album, “Rockstar,” which features duets with such musical luminaries as Sting, Debbie Harry, Elton John, and Miley Cyrus.
