Emma Watson is continuing to develop on her post-Harry Potter image, as a teaser emerges for Sofia ‘Lost In Translation’ Coppola’s forthcoming ‘The Bling Ring’.

The actress is boldly following the likes of previously squeaky clean teen stars like Selena Gomez and Kristen Stewart into potentially provocative roles.

And as the trailer states, the plot is indeed based on real events.

Watson plays Nicki, part of a group of fame-obsessed teenagers who went on a burgling spree across Los Angeles in 2008 and 2009.

The group hauled in $3 million in cash and belongings, largely from Paris Hilton’s house, which was targeted several times 

and a suspected 50 other burglaries at the homes of stars including Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan.

Joining Watson in the cast are Leslie Mann, Taissa Farmiga and Paris Hilton, who has a cameo as herself.

It’s due out in June in the US, though there’s no UK release date confirmed.
