They are known for making very low-key and casual appearances as a couple.

But on Monday, Jennifer Lawrence was pictured looking radiant in a yellow summer dress while out with husband Cooke Maroney at the New Orleans Museum of Art, in the Louisiana city. 

The 30-year-old Oscar winner appeared stylish in a very clingy ensemble, as she and her art gallerist partner took in the sights on their trip. 

It seemed to be a romantic day out for the private couple, who were married in a fancy Rhode Island ceremony in 2019.  

The pair are said to have enjoyed a late lunch at a local barbecue restaurant and then strolled around City Park before visiting the nearby gallery. 

Ever the gentleman, her husband Cooke was seen carrying her handbag for the star as she walked down steps at one point. 

New Orleans is known for being hot, humid, and rainy in the month of June, and it seemed as though the couple were careful not to get caught in a potential downpour on their day trip. 

Jennifer is currently hard at work in New Orleans for a movie project, portraying a veteran who is trying to acclimate to civilian life after suffering from brain damage in the Afghanistan War.

When she began work on this film in 2019 it was the first movie she shot since announcing in September 2017 that she was taking a sabbatical from acting. 

‘I don’t have anything set for two years,’ she told Savannah Guthrie on the Today show back then, joking that she might ‘start making pots.’  

In 2018, she founded her production company Excellent Cadaver, through which she is one of the producers on Red, White And Water.

Although an official release date has yet to be made public the movie’s IMDb page says it it scheduled to come out sometime this year. 

Jennifer’s next film is the star-studded Netflix entry Don’t Look Up, which stars DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Gina Gershon, Jonah Hill, Matthew Perry and Meryl Streep, to name just a few. 

Lawrence and Cooke Maroney tied the knot in 2019 at the Belcourt of Newport in Rhode Island with the likes of Adele, Cameron Diaz, and Emma Stone in attendance. 

She was first linked to Cooke after they were introduced by mutual friends in 2018, and by February 2019, the blonde beauty was spotted wearing an engagement ring.

‘Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life. It was a very, very easy decision,’ she told Entertainment Tonight after accepting his proposal.

‘He really is, and he gets better,’ the actress went on.
