Asher HaVon won the crown – bringing Reba McEntire her first victory as coach on The Voice.
The huge victory came after John Legend’s contestant Bryan Olesen took The Voice’s stage for the second time Monday night and sang Freedom! ’90 by George Michael – and viewers weren’t happy with the performance.
“This guy needs to apologize to George Michael. Damn that was awful,” one critic slammed on X, formerly known as Twitter,
“I would like Freedom… from Bryan’s mangling of a George Michael classic,” another fan wrote
The Voice returns this fall for Season 26 with a new cast of coaches including Reba, Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dogg.
Asher HaVon ‘speechless’ after win
In an emotional caption, The Voice winner Asher HaVon shared his feelings about taking home the win.
“Wow! I am speechless!” he wrote in his Instagram post. “I am the Winner of @nbcthevoice Season 25! I am truly humbled and grateful for this moment.

Fans devastated that Nathan Chester was ‘robbed’ in finale
Fans at home were devastated that performer Nathan Chester didn’t win the competition or come second but fourth.
“Nathan was robbed. No way 4th place. Should have been #1 or #2,” one wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Nathan in 4th place don’t sit right with me,” another wrote.
“Nathan was top 2 let’s be honest!!! America y’all can never vote correctly,” a third raged.
Kate Hudson’s performance shocks fans
Kate took the stage for the season 25 finale and performed the lead track from her album, Glorious.
The actress wore a flowing white gown featuring mesh stripe detailing.
Fans were delighted at Kate’s performance albeit shocked as her music career has mainly been kept out of the spotlight.
“Kate Hudson can hold a note?!” asked one fan on X, formerly Twitter, with a shocked face emoji.
“Kate Hudson could SING?? Who was gonna tell me?” added another.
