Kendrick Perkins, former NBA player turned analyst, reacted to Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James unfollowing him on X (formerly Twitter).
“Everybody didn’t follow Jesus, I’ll be ok,” wrote Perkins in response to another X post stating James’s unfollowing.
This is not the first time Perkins has been involved in controversial remarks. In March 2023,
he found himself in hot water for claiming that there were double standards in NBA MVP voting regarding race.
Before retiring in 2018, Perkins played for teams such as the Oklahoma City Thunder
and the Boston Celtics. He won the NBA championship in 2008 with the Celtics.
Perkins finished with career averages of 5.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks.
