Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt gets candid about long-distance relationship with fiancé Sean Hannity

Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt delighted their fans by announcing their engagement over the Christmas holiday.

The couple, who have been romantically linked for years, revealed the happy news in a heartfelt statement, expressing gratitude for the support of their families and loved ones.

Despite their commitment to each other, the newly engaged pair have confirmed that they will continue their long-distance relationship.

Hannity, 63, made the move to Florida last year, while Earhardt, 48, remains in New York with her daughter.

However, the distance has not been a barrier for the couple, as they ensure they spend every weekend together.

Balancing Careers and Personal Lives

During an episode of Fox & Friends, Earhardt shared her perspective on maintaining their bi-coastal romance. “I’m staying on the curvy couch,” she said, referring to her role as a co-host on Fox & Friends. “My daughter loves her school, I love my community, and obviously, I love my job.”

Hannity, a conservative talk show host with a prominent evening program on Fox News, has settled in Florida, a state he has often praised for its policies. The couple has reassured fans that despite their different locations, they prioritize their relationship. “We don’t miss a weekend without each other, so we see each other. We make it work. It’s easy,” Earhardt explained.

A Thoughtful Proposal Rooted in Faith

Earhardt also opened up about Hannity’s surprise proposal, revealing that it took place in their “home church.” She initially believed they were heading to a meeting when Hannity took an unexpected turn, pulling up at the church instead. “I said, ‘This is not the right turn.’ And he said, ‘We’re not going to the meeting,’” she recalled.

The couple sat together in the front pew, reflecting on their journey before Hannity led her to the altar and got down on one knee. The intimate proposal was a testament to the strong foundation of faith they share.

A Love Story Years in the Making

Rumors of Hannity and Earhardt’s relationship began circulating as early as 2019, but the pair maintained their privacy, neither confirming nor denying the speculation. Their bond reportedly deepened over shared beliefs and values, as well as their mutual respect for each other’s careers.

Both have had previous marriages. Hannity was married to Jill Rhodes from 1993 until their divorce in 2019, and they share two children. Earhardt, on the other hand, has been married twice before. Her first marriage to college sweetheart Kevin McKinney lasted from 2005 to 2009, and her second marriage to former Clemson quarterback Will Proctor ended in 2019. Earhardt shares a daughter with Proctor.

A Relationship Built on Support and Love

Despite their high-profile careers and past relationships, the couple has made it clear that they are deeply supportive of each other. Hannity has played a significant role in Earhardt’s career, and she has often expressed admiration for him. “I respect him so much. I look up to him. He’s been there for all of us in our careers,” she said on Fox & Friends. “We all love and adore him, and then we fell in love a few years ago, and it’s been a wonderful ride. I’m so grateful.”

The couple made sure to inform their ex-spouses of the engagement beforehand, and according to their statement, “everyone is supportive of each other.”

Looking Ahead

With both Hannity and Earhardt under long-term contracts with Fox News, they plan to continue their successful careers while nurturing their relationship. Hannity will remain in Florida, hosting his primetime show Hannity, while Earhardt will continue to co-host Fox & Friends from New York.

Their engagement is a milestone in their love story, symbolizing a union built on shared values, faith, and mutual admiration. While they navigate their long-distance relationship, their commitment to each other remains unwavering. Fans of the couple will undoubtedly be eager to see what the future holds for them as they prepare to tie the knot.
