After walking the red carpet in a floral Christian Dior Couture dress that she teamed with a classic up ‘do and lashings of red lipstick, Jennifer then changed into something equally as chic to party afterwards.
Swapping her flawless make-up for a more natural look, the blonde stepped out to attend Rihanna’s Diamond Horseshoe afterparty, held at Manhattan’s Paramount Hotel, in a metallic gown.
She teamed this with some stunning silver accessories while clutching onto a silver clutch bag.
Jen attended the party alongside showbiz friend Lorde, who looked equally as stunning in a matching satin dark red gown, that she teamed with a ponytail and a pair of black open toe heels.
Jennifer is no doubt used to being the centre of attention in an array of gorgeous gowns on those red carpets by now.
But, in an interview with French magazine Madame Figaro, J-Law admitted that it took her quite a while to get used to the whole fame thing.
“I hated dressing up for my first red carpets, because I never felt comfortable in these glamorous dresses,” she explained.
Despite the 24-year-old’s celebrity status now, she grew up riding horses in Kentucky, so it hasn’t always been glitz and glamour.
“In Louisville, when I was a child, I inherited clothes from my two older brothers [Ben and Blaine] that I put together with things that my mother dug out of yard sales,” Jen said.
“I was a true tomboy.”
“At the beginning I told everyone, ‘I’m an actress. I’m not a model. I don’t want to do it,’” she continued to tell the magazine.
“It is only recently that I discovered the beauty of haute couture.
“The first Dior collection I attended by Raf Simons blew me away.”
