Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney were seen in NYC with a big director: She about to have a new blockbuster? (video)

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are keeping it low key!

The married couple stepped out, hand-in-hand, in New York City on Wednesday for a casual date night.

The duo, who have been married since 2019, were spotted on a stroll in Manhattan with their hands and arms locked as they made their way through town.

In the images, Lawrence, 33, can be seen wearing a large red sweater, blue jeans and a pair of flats as Maroney walked with his arm around her shoulder — and in one image, holding her hand.

Lawrence walked with her hair pulled behind her head and some jewelry adding to the look,

while her husband kept it casual in a black sweater, white T-shirt, black jeans, and black and white vans to tie his look together.

This isn’t the first time the couple has been out and about in New York City recently. They were also spotted back in September in coordinating beige outfits for a cozy Sunday stroll as the city prepped for fall.

During that outing, the duo went for a casual beige look as Lawrence rocked a turtleneck sweater, and Maroney wore a tan button-down shirt. A month before that, they were spotted near Central Park in coordinated black-and-white looks.

Back in November 2021, Lawrence opened up to Vanity Fair about her partner, revealing that daily housekeeping tasks are some of her favorite parts of married life. “I really enjoy going to the grocery store with him,” Lawrence said at the time. “I don’t know why but it fills me with a lot of joy. I think maybe because it’s almost a metaphor for marriage. ‘Okay, we’ve got this list. These are the things we need. Let’s work together and get this done.'”

The Hunger Games star also spoke about Maroney in 2019 during an appearance on the Naked with Catt Sadler podcast, where she called her husband “the greatest human being I’ve ever met.” The pair were engaged in February 2019, a source confirmed to PEOPLE at the time, and later wed in October 2019, before welcoming their son Cy in February 2022.

“I don’t know, I started with the basics,” she said when asked about their decision to tie the knot during the podcast episode. “‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’ It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
