The star went from casual to fully glammed up in a dramatic Dior gown as she promoted her new film Mother!
The star arrived at the picturesque Italian city by boat yesterday afternoon, looking chic in a pair of grey trousers, black sleeveless top and towering black heels.
For the film’s photocall, she later swapped to a plunging Giambattista Valli charcoal lacy dress with peep-tour heels.
But just hours later, JLaw ramped up the glam with a dramatic Dior Haute Couture gown featuring a full skirt and adorned with flowers.
This time, her blonde hair was swept into a chic updo while delicate necklace and earrings completed the look.
However, the notoriously clumsy star, 26, had an assistant on hand to prevent her tripping on the red carpet.
The actress famously fell on her way up to collect her Best Actress Oscar back in 2013 while the following year she tripped on the red carpet at the prestigious event.
She was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Javier Bardem, 48, and Michelle Pfeiffer, 59.
Michelle looked gorgeous in her chain-mail dress that clung to her timeless figure.
She opted for some dramatic platform shoes, which made her stand out from the crowd.
Handsome Javier, meanwhile, looked dapper in his fitted suit.
The psychological horror film has been directed by Jennifer’s boyfriend Darren Aronofsky.
She told Vogue about their romance: “I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I’m never confused with him.”
The explores what happens when a couple’s home (Jennifer and Javier Bardem) is invaded by another married couple played by Ed Harris and Pfeiffer.
Jennifer added to the mag about her performance: “I had to go to a darker place than I’ve ever been in my life.
“I didn’t know if I’d be able to come out OK.”
Meanwhile, the stars of Mother! were joined on the red carpet by supermodel Stella Maxwell.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel looked stunning in a pink gown.
The dress was slashed to the side to reveal her long toned legs.
Actor Jim Carrey also stole his share of the spotlight in a metallic suit as he posed and busted out some moves on the carpet with typical flair.
Jim was on hand to promote his film of Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond – The Story Of Jim Carey & Andy Kaufman.
Other stars including Rebecca Hall who looked stunning in a sleek black plunging dress.
