Jennifer Lawrence struggles with her 2-year-old son while shopping in NY – Motherhood is truly challenging (video)

Jennifer Lawrence was spotted enjoying a stroll with her son Cy Maroney, two, in West Village, New York on Tuesday.

The Hunger Games actress opted for an elegant long forest green coat and matching scarf that she paired with black trousers.

She tied the look together as she wore her blonde locks in a bun and had on a pair off chunky sunglasses as she carried a black purse.

The 33-year-old mother-of-one flashed her 5-carat wedding ring as she carried her son in her arms.

Her toddler was dressed in a warm red and navy colored winter jacket and khaki bottoms as he clung to her.

The Kentucky native is married to art gallerist Cooke Maroney, 39,  who she met and was first spotted with back in June 2018.

They said ‘I do’ in a lavish Rhode Island ceremony in October 2019, just after a year of dating as they kept the relationship out of the public eye.

But the wedding was not all flowers and rainbows according to the movie star.

In fact, Lawrence said that the stress of hosting made the day ‘awful’ for her.

While at the Golden Globes in January she reflected on her time as a bride saying ‘It’s so stressful. You’re not having fun. You’re just like, “Is that person having fun?”‘

‘I’ll never forget—I was freaking out about the guests being cold, and all of my friends were lying. They’re like, “Nobody’s cold, nobody’s cold, everything’s fine, everything’s fine.” My mom was like, “It’s freezing out there. Your grandmother almost died,”‘ she added.

The actress admitted that she was under so much stress that she had The Godfather actor Robert De Niro leave her rehearsal dinner.

She said, ‘I looked over, and I saw Bob, who doesn’t know anybody, and he’s kind of wandering around, and I immediately was like, “No, this isn’t what he wants to be doing. I don’t want him here.”

‘So I went over and whispered, I was like, “Go home,” and he was nice—he talked to my parents and was polite—but I was like, “Go.”‘

And when he left, she said, ‘That just genuinely made me feel better.’

Lawrence starred in Netflix’s No Hard Feelings this past year alongside Andrew Barth Feldman in which she tries to earn some cash by sleeping with his character.

The comedy queen said, ‘I had so much fun making No Hard Feelings, it almost feels wrong to accept such an honor—but I will!” she last month about her award nominations.

She won the People’s Choice Award for the Comedy Movie Star of the Year with the role.
