A monthly men’s magazine recently awarded Jennifer Lawrence with the title of 2014’s Sexiest Woman in the World, and we all rejoiced at the mag’s stellar taste in sexy ladies.

Earlier this week though, at the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere in New York, a news reporter for ET Online asked Jennifer Lawrence how she felt about reaching the number one spot,

and Jen replied in a very J-Law-esque way. She basically thinks they got it wrong, and described it as, “The lie heard round the world.”

“I know the truth,” she said, “I know that Beyoncé is the queen of the world.”

The news reporter didn’t just stop with Jen, she also asked Jen’s X Men fellow cast members (cringe), but they were all in agreement that yes, J-Law is one sexy lady.

Hugh Jackman said, “I think she is anything in the world. That woman is extraordinary”

James Marsden agreed: “She’s just a normal chick who trips over stuff and blows her nose. And she’s beautiful on top of it.”

Shawn Ashmore, who plays Iceman in the film, said: “She’s amazing. Talented, sexy beautiful, funny. All those things.”

So there we have it, we don’t think you should demand a re-count just yet.

Jennifer Lawrence has been named the sexiest woman in the world, according to a men’s magazine poll.

The Oscar-winning actress was voted the most sexy, over former Corrie star Michelle Keegan, who came second. Rihanna took the third spot, Emily Ratajkowski (who starred in the Blurred Lines video) came fourth, and Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco was voted fifth. Mila Kunis, last year’s winner, came in sixth place, according to the poll in FHM magazine.

Jen received a “record amount of votes” this year – and according to the magazine’s editor, it’s because of her fun personality:

“Not only is she the most in-demand actress on the planet, but men the world over have fallen in love with her kooky charm.”

While all the women in the list above are unsurprising additions to the list because, well, they’re gorgeous, there’s something refreshing about a Hollywood mega babe who also seems like a hell of a lot of fun – and who isn’t afraid to have opinions and do what the hell she wants, being crowned by men as the sexiest of them all.

In fact, several other celebs on this list – Rihanna, Kaley Cuoco and Mila Kunis – are known as A-listers with a bit of chutzpah about them – proving that sometimes, nothing’s sexier than an awesome personality.
