Jennifer returns to the big screen, not just as an actress in this psychological crime film but also taking on a crucial role

Jennifer Lawrence will produce and star in “The Wives,” a brand new crime drama from Apple Original Films.

According to Variety, Apple Original Films will co-invest and acquire the rights to produce and distribute the project with Jennifer Lawrence’s Excellent Cadaver.

“The Wives,” written by screenwriters Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley, is based on a series of true stories from the reality TV show “Real Housewives,”

which tells the story of the lavish, luxurious lives and feuds and dramas within the families of wealthy tycoons.

And in that context, a mysterious murder case will appear, causing everyone to gradually begin to suspect each other.

Currently, there is no information about the other cast except for Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role. In addition, the film studio is also in the process of finding a suitable director.

“The Wives” will be Jennifer Lawrence’s latest project this year. Last year, she returned to the charming comedy “No Hard Feeling” after giving birth to her first daughter, marking the return of the 1990-born actress after a period of rest.

Jennifer Lawrence is also considered one of the newest generation of talented actresses in Hollywood and is a star who won an Oscar at the age of 22.

She is also the face that filmmakers invite to act in films, including a series of works that have made a big splash in both revenue and art such as “Joy,” “American Hustle,” “Silver Linings Playbook,” or “Don’t Look Up.”
