Jessica Alba has officially confirmed her split from her husband of 16 years, Cash Warren. 

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, the 43-year-old actress and entrepreneur shared her reflections on the end of their marriage, 

addressing the public for the first time since rumors of their separation surfaced.

Alba began her post by acknowledging the personal journey of self-discovery 

and transformation that she has been on, both individually and within her partnership with Warren. 

“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she wrote. 

Despite the split, she expressed pride in the growth they had achieved together over the course of their two-decade-long relationship. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals,” Alba explained.

The couple, who married in 2008, share three children: daughters Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7. Alba emphasized their shared commitment to their kids, writing, “Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.” She also stressed that despite the separation, they would continue to move forward with mutual love, kindness, and respect for one another. “We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” she added.

Sources had reported earlier this week that the “Honey” actress had hired a divorce attorney, signaling that the couple’s separation was becoming official. Despite this, insiders noted that Alba and Warren remained on good terms. “No matter what’s going on right now, it seems they will remain close,” a source revealed. “If they’re filing for divorce, it’s not because of some hateful drama. They still look happy together. Jess has mentioned over the years though that it’s hard to keep the spark.”
