Josie Gibson made a highly anticipated return to the This Morning sofa on Friday, just in time for the premiere of her brand-new travel series, Around The World In First Class.

The Big Brother winner turned presenter has been on an exciting career journey,
and her latest venture will take viewers on a luxurious trip through the Middle East.
Josie’s Luxury Travel Show Debuts on Channel 5

Josie’s new three-part series will make its debut at 8 PM on Channel 5, treating viewers to an inside look at the world of high-end travel.

The show promises extravagant experiences, including stays in $20,000-per-night hotel suites, camel rides, and a breathtaking safari adventure.

As Josie explores the booming market for five-star luxury, fans will get a glimpse of the glamorous side of travel.
Despite her packed schedule, Josie reassured her This Morning fans that she isn’t leaving the popular ITV daytime show anytime soon. Since joining the program in 2019, she has become a beloved co-host, regularly presenting alongside Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond.
Juggling Two Major TV Roles
Josie spoke about her new travel series when it was first announced last year, sharing her excitement for the project while emphasizing her continued dedication to This Morning.

“I’ve got loads of things in the pipeline, I’m still very involved with This Morning,” she explained in an interview. “I’m very grateful for This Morning and everything they’ve helped me with because they grew me as a presenter.”
She confirmed that she would be back on This Morning over the Christmas season and would then find a way to balance both projects. True to her word, she was back on the ITV sofa on Friday, presenting alongside Alison Hammond.
Josie’s Absence Sparked Concern Among Fans
Josie’s recent absence from This Morning had left some fans worried, particularly when she stepped away from the show last October. At the time, it was revealed that her break was due to personal commitments, including filming for Around The World In First Class. However, her return to the show has put any concerns to rest.

Back in January, Josie also made headlines when she received a surprise video call from the This Morning team on her 40th birthday, further proving her strong ties to the show.
Health Scare Raises Questions
Earlier this week, Josie sparked concern once again when she shared an Instagram post suggesting she had sought medical attention for an undisclosed issue. The post included a photo of hospital signage directing visitors to the Fracture & Orthopaedic Clinics and a Trauma Assessment Unit.
She captioned the image: “You couldn’t even make it up,” while playing Cry Cry by Mazzy Star in the background. However, at the time, she did not clarify whether the hospital visit was for herself or someone she was accompanying.

Revealing the Cause of Her Injury
Josie finally addressed the mystery behind her hospital visit during Friday’s episode of This Morning. She revealed that the injury occurred while she was on holiday in Dubai.
“It was the second day of the holiday. I have always wanted to take my little one to Dubai,” she explained. “I was brushing my teeth when the vanity unit came down on my foot.”
Josie also shared a photo of the damaged bathroom cabinet, revealing how it had unexpectedly fallen and injured her foot. While the injury had raised concern among fans, she appeared to be in good spirits as she discussed it on the show.

What’s Next for Josie?
With Around The World In First Class set to premiere tonight, Josie is stepping into a new chapter of her career, bringing her charm and energy to a travel series like no other. As she continues to juggle her presenting roles, fans can look forward to seeing more of her both on This Morning and in her new travel adventures.
Whether she’s reporting from a glamorous destination or sitting on the This Morning sofa, Josie Gibson continues to captivate audiences, proving that her career is only getting bigger and better.
