Justin & Jeremy Garcia will return to The Voice after failing in season 25, posting a strange status on social media, but notably, Reba McEntire’s reaction drew attention

Never underestimate the power of nostalgia. Reminded of her earliest singing days on Tuesday night’s (March 19) episode of The Voice.

Coach Reba McEntire decided to use her one and only Steal to poach Justin and Jeremy Garcia from Team Dan + Shay.

The 17-year-old twins from Millbrae, California were briefly eliminated following a Battle (the head-to-head performance.

Involved a cover of “Million Reasons” by Lady Gaga) with 19-year-old Frank Garcia.

McEntire — who grew up performing alongside two of her siblings (older brother Pake.

And younger sister Susie) in a group aptly-called “The Singing McEntires” — couldn’t stand to see the brothers go home.

In fact, she’s desperately wanted them on her team ever since the Blind Auditions, which scored them a total of three chairs.

“I wanted y’all so bad,” she explained just as the two were about to leave the stage. “I love your harmonies, I love that you’re brothers, and it just sounds so good. I want to work with you so bad. Welcome to Team Reba.” Further explaining her decision to use up a Steal, McEntire added, “I don’t have a duo on my team and I love duos. That’s a huge asset to my team. I love harmony and I had to steal Justin and Jeremy because that blood harmony…you can’t beat it.”

“Growing up, Justin and I were really shy. Music was definitely the thing that brought us out of our shell,” Jeremy said in the season premiere ahead of the brothers’ cover of “Story of My Life” by One Direction.

“This song is really about looking back at the memories that make you who you are,” said Justin. “We are first-generation Americans. Our family actually moved here from the Philippines. Music has surrounded us. It’s basically in our culture. Music really is the story of our life. This is a dream come true. We’re on The Voice. I’m just really proud that we can do it together.”
