Katie Price’s plans to help son Harvey earn cash after he’s kicked out of residential home

Katie Price has opened up about her plan to support her eldest son, Harvey, in earning money after he was removed from his residential care home.

The former glamour model and television personality revealed on her podcast,

The Katie Price Show, that she intends to help Harvey generate income through online platforms and public appearances.

Harvey, 22, was born with multiple complex conditions, including Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism, and partial blindness.

As a result, he requires continuous care and support. His condition has made everyday life a challenge, and Katie has long advocated for his well-being.

However, the mother-of-five expressed her frustration after learning that the residential care facility,

which had been providing Harvey with essential support, could no longer accommodate him due to the increasing difficulty in managing his needs.

On her podcast, Katie explained the upsetting news, saying: “Harvey is supposed to be moving in four-and-a-half weeks, but they’ve changed management and told me they won’t be able to cater to him anymore because he’s too difficult. Now, I’ve got to find another placement for him. So yeah, more drama to deal with.”

Despite the setback, Katie remains determined to ensure Harvey continues to have a stable and fulfilling life. She has decided to introduce new ways for him to make money, helping him build financial independence.

Katie’s Plan to Help Harvey Earn Money

Katie has announced that she will be setting up a Cameo account for Harvey, a platform where fans can request personalized video messages from celebrities and influencers for a fee. She believes this will be a great way for him to earn “pocket money” while engaging with supporters.

Sharing her enthusiasm for the idea, she stated: “Harvey is going to earn some pocket money. I got asked the other day about Harvey doing club PAs (public appearances), and I asked him, ‘Do you want to do some clubs and get some pocket money?’ and he said, ‘Yes, Mum!’”

In addition to Cameo, Katie also plans to arrange nightclub meet-and-greets for Harvey, where fans can interact with him in person. She emphasized that these opportunities would be a fun and safe way for him to gain financial independence while enjoying social experiences.

“As soon as Harvey is back living near me, I’m going to get him on Cameo and doing club PAs,” Katie explained. “He loves being social, and this way, he can have some financial independence while having fun.”

A Mother’s Struggle to Find the Right Care

Katie expressed her disappointment in the lack of stability and support from the authorities responsible for Harvey’s care. She shared that she felt “let down” by the council and was frustrated by the immense amount of work required to find a new placement that meets his needs.

“We worked months and months for that, and he was told four-and-a-half weeks before that he couldn’t go there. Harvey has been doing the countdown, so now it’s stressful because you want the right thing for your child,” she shared. “It’s a lot of time and effort to go back and do more meetings, more forms—it’s very time-consuming because you want the best for your child.”

Katie’s main priority now is to find a care facility closer to her home in Horsham, West Sussex. Being near Harvey would allow her to be more involved in his daily life and ensure he receives the best possible care.

A Strong Support System

Harvey is the eldest of Katie’s five children. His father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, though he has not played an active role in Harvey’s life. Katie also shares son Junior, 18, and daughter Princess, 16, with her ex-husband, singer Peter Andre. Additionally, she has two younger children, Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, from her marriage to builder Kieran Hayler.

Despite the challenges, Katie remains committed to ensuring Harvey has the best possible opportunities and support. Her innovative approach to helping him earn money not only provides financial assistance but also fosters his independence.

As Katie continues her search for a suitable residential placement for Harvey, she remains optimistic that the future will bring better opportunities for him. Fans and supporters have rallied behind her, expressing their admiration for her unwavering dedication to her son’s well-being.

For now, Katie is focusing on making Harvey’s transition as smooth as possible and ensuring he has every chance to thrive despite the setbacks.
