Kayla McBride’s outstanding performance is bringing a dominant victory to the Minnesota Lynx over the Dallas Wings

The Minnesota Lynx are looking like one of the teams to beat in the WNBA after claiming a fourth successive win, as Kayla McBride produced a headline-making performance.

Napheesa Collier, Alanna Smith and Dorka Juhasz also played important roles in this Lynx victory.

It was another tough day at the office for the Dallas Wings, who have now lost each of their last eight games.

The Minnesota Lynx sealed a fourth consecutive WNBA victory after overpowering the Dallas Wings with a 90-78 win.

Kayla McBride was the star of the show after netting 19 points,

while Natisha Hiedeman made a telling impact from the bench and put up a further 17 to consign the Texans to an eighth-straight defeat.

Napheesa Collier, Alanna Smith and Dorka Juhasz all made crucial contributions for the Lynx, taking 16, 12 and 11 points respectively.

Collier continued her fine form this season after claiming 30 points on Friday and finished the match with 5 of 17 from the field.

Another telling statistic from the night concerned free throws, with the Lynx managing to score 23 from 24 shots.

However, the Wings were desperately lacking joy in that area and only scored with one of their three shots.

Dallas were left reeling from the key absence of Arike Ogunbowale, who had been the Texan outfit’s leading scorer in all of their opening 11 games of the season and had averaged 24.9 points.

Ogunbowale was missing due to a sore Achilles, and her impact faded in the last match against the Connecticut Sun when she only managed 11 points.

Sevgi Uzun and Maddy Siegrist both looked to step up in Ogunbowale’s absence by taking an admirable 17 points each, while Monique Billings added 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.

This result leaves Minnesota top of the Western Conference with 11 wins and three defeats from 14 games, with Dallas propping up the table after a chastening series of results to date which includes just three victories and 10 losses.

The Lynx are back in action on Wednesday night when they face the Atlanta Dream, while the Wings next face the Chicago Sky on Thursday.
