Lily Allen and David Harbour are parting ways after four years of marriage, multiple sources have confirmed to *PEOPLE*. 

The “Smile” singer, 39, and the *Stranger Things* actor, 49, have separated, with an insider revealing that their relationship had been facing challenges leading to their split.

“Her marriage has been crumbling,” a source shared exclusively with *PEOPLE*. 

“They have split.” Representatives for both Allen and Harbour have not yet responded to requests for comment, keeping the details of their separation private.

The couple, who married in Las Vegas in 2020, had appeared to be in a stable and happy relationship in the public eye.

However, in recent months, Allen alluded to struggles that seemed to affect her well-being. 

On December 16, 2023, during an episode of her BBC podcast *Miss Me?*, Allen opened up about a “tough time” she had been experiencing. Although she didn’t go into specifics, she revealed that these struggles were impacting her mental health and even her eating habits.

“I’ve had a tough time recently,” Allen said on the podcast. “It’s affecting my mental health, and I’m having problems with my eating.” She did not go into more detail but shared that she was seeking support to manage her emotions during this challenging period.

In the years following their whirlwind romance, Allen and Harbour’s relationship was often the subject of public curiosity. The couple first met on the celebrity dating app Raya in 2019, and by 2020, they had tied the knot in a low-key ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator in Las Vegas. Allen’s two daughters from her previous marriage to Sam Cooper, Marnie and Ethel, were present at the intimate ceremony.
