As Met Gala Queen Rihanna says, “Work, work, work, work, work.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have skipped out on attending the Met Gala yet again.
The royal couple typically doesn’t attend splashy Hollywood events (though the Met Gala is technically a fundraiser, so maybe we’ll see a switch-up one of these years).
According to People, Prince Harry has a work commitment in London two days after the Met Gala on May 8. He’ll be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Invictus Games with a special reading, and then Meghan is said to be joining him in Nigeria after.
The couple also recently revealed that they’re working on two new shows for Netflix: a series that Deadline reports will see Meghan “
celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship” as well as a documentary about the world of competitive polo.
Before your face does this 😐 re: that polo project, Deadline notes that this series will “pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level. Prince Harry has been known as a keen polo player and is often photographed playing internationally.”
Honestly, sounds interesting/excited to watch.
