Recently, the Daily Mail reported that a source close to the royal family shared Meghan Markle’s feelings during her trip back to the UK to complete her final royal duties.
Accordingly, Meghan Markle is said to have told her friends that the trip was a mixture of joy and sadness, but she was just looking forward to returning home to Archie in Canada.
“Meghan said that this trip helped the couple confirm that they made the right choice when leaving the royal family.
There was no warmth between family members and Meghan wanted to raise her son in a home filled with laughter, joy and warm hugs,” a close friend of Meghan revealed to the Daily Mail.
“Meghan said that no one hugged her and everyone was very tense, especially Kate. Meghan said that her sister-in-law Kate and her husband did not approve of Harry and her choice.
Kate barely looked at Meghan and their interactions were kept to a minimum,” the friend added.
In fact, during the last meeting of the two royal couples on March 9, the public could see the cold relationship between them. Meghan Markle and her husband arrived first and sat down first. Then the Cambridges appeared. The two couples only said a brief greeting, without a handshake or a warm hug like in the past.
The Duchess of Sussex is said to have told friends that she felt relieved not to bring Archie back to the UK because it was “pointless” and even harmful to the child. After attending her final royal duties, Meghan flew back to Canada with her 10-month-old son, while Prince Harry stayed in the UK to deal with the remaining issues before the Sussexes officially leave the royal family at the end of this month.
Meghan Markle’s turn to speak ill of the royal family and her sister-in-law Kate has angered and disappointed many people. They believe the Queen and other members of the royal family have been too kind after the damage the Sussexes have done to them.
