Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras had something sweet to say about Meghan Markle’s first American Riviera Orchard product.
On April 18, the Argentinian polo player and Sentebale ambassador shouted out the strawberry jam from the Duchess of Sussex’s new lifestyle brand with a post on Instagram,
including a picture of him sampling it.
“Did I tell you I love your jam? 🍓 @americanrivieraorchard,” he captioned the snaps.
The montage opened with a shot of Figueras, 47, standing with his arms around Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, at the trophy ceremony of the Royal Salute Polo Challenge match in Florida on April 12.
Figueras and the Duke of Sussex both saddled up for the equestrian event benefitting Sentebale, the charity Prince Harry co-founded to help empower young people in southern Africa in 2006.
The carousel rolled to show the American Riviera Orchard spread on toast on a plate with raspberries and closed with a playful picture of Figueras taking a bite.
The jar’s label included a clue about who else has been tasting the jam: Figueras’ wife, Delfina Blaquier! The American Riviera Orchard labeled jar featured in the polo star’s post was stamped “10 out of 50,” which was the same label on the jar Blaquier posted to her Instagram Stories earlier this week.
Much like her husband, the photographer, 43, had plenty of praise for the preserves.
“Strawberry 🍓jam makes me happy,” Blaquier wrote over a photo of the product on her Instagram Stories. “And I ❤️your jam @americanrivieraorchard.”
The model and mom of four also shared a shot of herself taste-testing the jam, spreading some on a slice of bread along with some strawberries.
Meghan and Blaqueir spent time together on the sidelines of the Royal Salute Polo Challenge match on April 12, a few days before she posted the American Riviera Orchard photos. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at the equestrian event with Figueras and Blaquier and posed for photos together. Prince Harry and Meghan also greeted the couple’s youngest daughter, Alba, with hugs, and Meghan was spotted walking with an arm around the girl.
The couples have been friends for years, tracing back to when Figueras and Prince Harry met at a charity march benefitting Sentebale in 2007. Figueras and Blaquier later attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018, and Blaquier and Meghan supported their husbands at the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup in Windsor two months later.
Figueras and Blaquier aren’t the only ones who have raved about American Riviera Orchard’s strawberry jam on social media in recent days. Fashion designer Tracy Robbins was also one of the first to celebrate the product on her Instagram Stories, sharing shots of the jam nestled in a basket of lemons on April 15.
“Thank you for the delicious basket!” she wrote. “I absolutely love this jam so not sure I’m sharing with anyone 🙂 @americanrivieraorchard Thank you M! 🤍 #montecitogoodness #americanrivieraorchard.”
The designer is married to Paramount Pictures CEO Brian Robbins and spent time with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Jamaica in January.
“@Americanrivieraorchard breakfast, lunch and dinner just got a little sweeter 🤍,” she added in a second snap showing a close-up.
Robbins’ jar was marked “17 of 50,” indicating the batch number of the new product.
Tracee Ellis Ross, Mindy Kaling and Kelly McKee Zajfen have all posted photos of their jams on social media, all beautifully displayed in a bowl of fresh lemons.
Ellis Ross posted a picture of her jam on her Instagram Stories, showing a jar marked “21 out of 50.” An envelope nestled behind the product featured her name in swooping calligraphy, much like the American Riviera Orchard logo on the jars itself.
PEOPLE understands that the brand logo is in Meghan’s own handwriting — which comes as no surprise, as she previously worked as a calligrapher!
Kaling, who recently caught up with Prince Harry at the BetterUp Uplift Summit in San Francisco, shared a similar picture starring jar “19 out of 50” to her Instagram Stories, over which she wrote, “Obsessed” and tagged the brand’s Instagram handle. The Duchess of Sussex debuted an online presence for American Riviera Orchard with a website and Instagram account on March 14, though both remain vague with simple landing pages featuring the logo.
McKee Zajfen showed off her American Riviera Orchard jam in a basket of lemons on April 16 along with compliments for Meghan.
“Ohhhhh Just a taste of what’s to come!!! So proud of you M @americanrivieraorchard 🍋,” the Alliance of Moms co-founder wrote below an Instagram photo of herself holding the basket.
The rollout of the strawberry jams marks American Riviera Orchard’s first branded product, and PEOPLE understands the Duchess of Sussex will officially launch her new lifestyle brand this spring.
A source told PEOPLE in March that the venture “will reflect everything that she loves — family, cooking, entertaining and home décor.”
The spread of the jams on social media follows the announcement that the Duchess of Sussex has a lifestyle show in the works at Netflix, with which she and Prince Harry signed a multi-year deal in 2020.
Deadline was first to report on April 11 that the couple’s Archewell Productions has two new nonfiction series in the “early stages” of production at the streamer. A series curated by Meghan, who is also serving as an executive producer, will “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship,” and another program will “provide viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo,” a sport that Prince Harry has played for decades.
