After Princess Kate confirmed she had cancer on March 22, Prince Harry and Meghan Marke quickly showed their concern for their sister-in-law in different ways.

The Sussex couple not only issued an official statement to send good wishes but also personally contacted the Prince and Princess of Wales that evening.

It’s unclear what the two sides said to each other, but according to sources, Kate and William treated their younger brother and his wife socially and were no longer as close as before.

According to New York Post sources, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex only learned about Kate’s condition through TV, like the rest of the world.

Famous British public relations commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said on The Sun that Princess Kate chose not to tell Harry and Meghan

about their cancer diagnosis because she felt they could not trust them.

“There is a deep rift between the two brothers. We know that they apparently haven’t spoken to each other in months. The reason of course is that for about 4 years they caused countless problems for the royal family and therefore could not be trusted.

William does not trust Harry and Meghan. I think there’s a good reason. We know Oprah, the documentary Harry & Meghan, Spare and the interviews surrounding his book,” the 75-year-old expert commented.

Meanwhile, Mr. Phil Dampier, author of many books about the royal family, emphasized that Harry and Meghan are at the bottom of William and Kate’s priority list.

According to the veteran journalist, when Harry returned to England to visit King Charles after he was diagnosed with cancer, William could completely arrange a time to talk to his brother if he needed to reconcile, but that does not happen in reality.

“Harry was in the countryside for less than 2 days. He didn’t want to spend much time with his father, let alone his brother. That’s quite understandable. I think with all the problems they’ve faced over the past few weeks, dealing with Harry and Meghan is definitely at the bottom of the to-do list.
