Princess Kate and Prince Harry are said to be ‘separated’ with ‘no sign of a bridge’ to mend their fractured relationship

Princess Kate and Prince Harry are said to be “separated” with “no sign of a bridge” to repair their fractured relationship.

That was according to royal biographer Emily Andrews, who says Kate’s family have rallied around her as she undergoes cancer treatment.

Harry, however, was noticeably absent last month when Kate made her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour.

Andrews claims Harry has not offered Kate support, in stark contrast to other royals, marking a change in the relationship for the once-close pair.

Harry, 39, is once believed to have described Kate as “the sister I never had, but always wanted” as they shared a close bond, reports the Express.

Writing in Closer, Andrews said: “What has kept her going are her family and friends rallying round.

Though sadly, the same can’t be said for her brother-in-law, who she was once close to. Now she’s faced with her darkest days, where has Harry been?”

Andrews continued: “With his new life in the US, high-profile TV appearances and a scathing book to boot, it is unlikely that Harry’s shoulder will be one Kate has sought to cry on. But, there lies the rub. Surely illness is one of the most powerful reasons to reunite and to put the past firmly in the history books? Instead, the wedge appears to be even larger, with no sign of a bridge to connect the pair.”

The bond between Kate and her brother-in-law reportedly became tense after Meghan Markle was introduced into the Royal Family. The tension is said to have escalated in 2018, during the preparations for Harry and Meghan’s nuptials.

In his explosive memoir, ‘Spare’, Harry claimed that a disagreement over Princess Charlotte’s flower girl dress led to a fallout between Kate and Meghan. Harry alleged that a text argument ensued, leaving Meghan ‘on the floor sobbing’. The next day, it’s reported that Kate sent Meghan flowers and an apology note.

In 2020, Harry and Meghan decided to step back from Royal duties and relocated their family to Montecito, California, USA. The Mirror has contacted representatives of both Harry and Kate for comment.
