The couple reached out to the High Plains Observer after an EF3 tornado hit Perryton on Thursday, killing three people and injuring more than 100 others.
“Rex and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences. We’re sending our thoughts and prayers to all the folks in Perryton after the devastating tornado.” said Reba.
“Perryton has a real, real close place in my heart,” said Rex.
“You know, I just want to say the people in the panhandle of Texas are some of the most caring and hardworking people in this country. And right now they need your help.”
Rex and Reba asked people to donate to the victims.
“No matter how much you want to give, they sure would appreciate it, because they really do need it,” said Reba.
