Reba McEntire is set to take the stage at the Super Bowl. 

She will be serenading the Allegiant Stadium and signing the National Anthem in the mega event.

 People are even betting on how long her performance will be. 

Despite her countless accolades as a singer, one thing closer to her besides music is her family. 

She has six kids, and on this Super Bowl, they will be watching their mother perform the “Star Spangled Banner”.

Though she has six children, only one of them is her biological child.

 Her biological son Shelby is perhaps the most notable figure of the bunch. However, all her children have gone on to make a successful life for themselves.

The Voice coach has been married twice in her life. First to Charlie Battles, with whom she stayed in the knot from 1976 to 1987, and then to Narvel Blackstock, with whom she was married from 1989 to 2015. Charles had 2 children, Coty, and Lance Battles, while Blackstock had 4 children: Shelby, Brandon, Chassidy, and Shawna Rene Blackstock. Out of the bunch, Shelby Blackstock is the 68-year-old’s biological son.

Shelby was born in 1990 to Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock. Surprisingly, as soon as he finished college, he began his career as a race car driver. He competed in the US F2000 National Championship, along with Indy Lights and Pro Mazda Championship. He realized his career path in 2010 during his time at the University of Arizona. In 2011, he became a NASCAR driver and got to start the 2011 Continental Tire Challenge Grand-AM 200.

He went as high as 170MPH in that race!

The stepson Brandon Blackstock has made quite a name for himself as a talent manager and was married to Kelly Clarkson. They divorced each other in 2021. He has two children with Kelly Clarkson and two others with his ex-wife Melissa Ashworth. Brandon was born in 1976.

Chassidy Blackstock is Reba’s third stepchild and was born in 1978. She likes to keep her life private. However, she accompanies the 68-year-old singer to some of her events. Their other daughter Shawna, also likes to spend her time away from the media and there isn’t much information available on her.

Speaking about a dearth of information, there is little to no knowledge on Charles Battles’ children.

Charles Battles had two boys, Coty and Lance Battles. Not much is known about the men, but we do know that Coty Battles followed his father and became a wrestler. He then decided to live a quiet life on a ranch. He is happily married and lives in Texas.

Lance’s life is too cryptic, and there’s not much to say about him. All we know is that Lance’s father died due to a heart attack. It seems the Battles are not interested in the limelight and would prefer to live life quietly.
