Rihanna finally revealed a vulnerability about her second son, Riot Rose, that fans have long suspected: “Yeah, he might be a little different…” (video)

For years, Rihanna fans have been anticipating the singer’s ninth studio album, commonly referred to as R9 for ease.

And while the Fenty Beauty founder is not dropping any hints about a timeframe, she is teasing some very special collaborators who could feature on the album: Her own children.

Entertainment Tonight recently caught up with Rihanna at a FENTY x PUMA Creeper event in London, England.

And took the chance to ask her about plans to feature her two children — almost two-year-old RZA and six-month-old Riot — in the long-anticipated R9.

While Rihanna said that, eventually, it’s “up to them” to choose to participate in her album or not — which might be a little difficult given that we are talking about toddlers.

She did share that she already has plenty of recordings that she could envision working into songs.

“I already got stuff that I feel I could make hits out of,” Rihanna told the interviewer, squinting her eyes.

However, there’s a catch: both Rih and A$AP Rocky might want to use their children’s recordings. “Me and Rocky are already trying to figure out who’s going to use what because it’s so good.”

It isn’t uncommon for parent musicians to use samples of their children’s musings in their songs. Earlier this month, Beyoncé’s youngest daughter, Rumi Carter, made headlines after becoming the youngest female artist to enter Billboard’s Hot 100 list for a sample Beyoncé weaved into her Cowboy Carter song “Protector.” She surpasses her own sister, Blue Ivy Carter, who previously held the record with “Brown Skin Girl,” for which she also became the youngest person ever to win a Grammy as an individual. (Blue was also featured on Jay-Z’s “Glory,” which was released just days after her birth.)

Even outside of the Carter family, the little ones are making ripples — just look at DJ Khaled’s son Asahd, who currently has credits on three of his father’s albums, or Hazel Monét, Victoria Monét’s first-born daughter, who made history as the youngest Grammy nominee ever for her involvement in “Hollywood.” North West also entered the Hot 100 earlier this year for the first time for her verse in her father Ye’s “Talking.”

With Rihanna and A$AP Rocky as parents, RZA and Riot could easily follow suit — and given that the former is named after one of the most legendary rappers, we’d say it’s only a matter of time. Now the question is, what “stuff” exactly does Rihanna have recorded? Are we talking babblings or full-on bars?
