The 31-year-old singing superstar sported a plain black T-shirt tucked into loose matching sweatpants while making her way through JFK Airport.
She completed her ensemble with pointy black shoes.
Rihanna had her dark hair pulled back into a high ponytail. She accessorized with giant mirrored sunglasses, earrings, necklace and bracelets.
Rihanna added a pop of color with bright red lipstick and matching fingernail polish.
The singer and actress was spotted stepping out Tuesday night in a silky black dress for a private party in New York City.
Rihanna despite being seen in New York recently mostly has been based out of London.
In May, she told the New York Times that the move was so she could be closer to the team working on her cosmetics line Fenty (named for her last name).
The blockbuster products are designed in Paris and manufactured in Italy.
According to the Times, the lines first year of sales, which concluded in September 2018, surpassed $500 million in revenue.
Rihanna released her last album Anti in January 2016 and has been working on her ninth studio album.
She told her Ocean’s 8 castmate Sarah Paulson, 44, in an Interview article Monday that she didn’t know when her next album will come out.
‘I have blocked off a solid period of time for the studio next month,’ Rihanna said.
