Rihanna is a style icon for her millions of fans around the world.
So it doesn’t come as a surprise that Rihanna looked her normal fabulous and fashionable self when she made a late night outing in New York City on Tuesday.
The evening jaunt came just hours after word got out that she is suing her father, Ronald Fenty, for trying to cash in by exploiting her name without permission.
With bodyguards safely close by her side, the singer stepped out of an SUV looking casual chic in black skinny jeans and a form-fitted black turtleneck sweater that showed off her famous curves.
For added flare, she covered up in an eye-grabbing light brown suede jacket as she strutted her stuff in a pair of black stilettos.
On this night, the 30-year old superstar wore her raven locks long and flowing off of her face to the middle of her back, with some soft curls and a part in the middle.
The Barbadian beauty accessorized with her unreleased Fenty sunglasses and a Dior bag valued at over $1500.
Rihanna just back back into the US on Sunday after enjoying a holiday in Europe with her boyfriend, Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel.
She confirmed they were a couple in a Vogue interview this past summer, but it’s believed they have been dating for more than a year-and-a-half.
For the most part, they’ve kept their relationship private; she’s never posted directly about Jameel on her social media.
In legal papers first obtained by The Blast, the singer, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is suing her father for using the family name to promote his venture, Fenty Entertainment.
Rihanna already has a business of her own named Fenty Beauty, which produces make-up and facial products.

She claims claims her father, and a man named Moses Perkins, created the entertainment company and have been soliciting business acting as agents of the singer without her permission.
The father and daughter have had a rocky relationship for many years, that dates back to childhood growing up in Barbados.
