Ruth Langsford leaves Loose Women open-mouthed with REVOLTING confession – as viewers gasp ‘I’ll never look at her the same way again!’

Ruth Langsford stunned both her Loose Women co-hosts and viewers at home with an unexpected revelation during Tuesday’s episode of the popular ITV daytime show.

The 64-year-old television presenter, known for her composed and professional demeanor, made a surprising confession that left many in disbelief.

A Startling Admission on Live TV

During a panel discussion with co-stars Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter, and Judi Love, the conversation initially revolved around the etiquette of cleaning up after pets.

However, as the discussion unfolded, Ruth made a personal confession that took the conversation in an entirely unexpected direction.

Recounting an embarrassing moment from a recent jog, Ruth admitted that she had found herself in an urgent and unavoidable situation.

She described feeling an intense cramping sensation while running, which quickly escalated into a desperate need to relieve herself.

“I could feel my top lip starting to sweat, and my eyes were darting,” she explained, emphasizing the panic she felt as she realized she wouldn’t make it home in time. With no restroom in sight and no other options, she acted on impulse.

Spotting a secluded area with some bushes, Ruth made the split-second decision to take cover and take care of business. “I just literally flew in, leggings down, then leggings up, and I was so shocked that I just shot back out of the bushes,” she recalled. The experience left her shaken, and she admitted that she spent the rest of the run home hoping no one had seen her.

Viewers React to Ruth’s Confession

Unsurprisingly, Ruth’s unexpected revelation sparked a strong reaction from Loose Women viewers. Social media quickly lit up with comments, with many expressing their surprise and amusement at the unfiltered honesty.

One viewer tweeted, “I’ll never look at Ruth Langsford in quite the same way again. #LooseWomen.” Another joked, “So Ruth nearly s*** herself. Top telly. I’m glad this lot don’t waste their time debating the war in Ukraine! #LooseWomen.”

Others were simply baffled by the choice to share such a personal story on national television. “Why did Ruth Langsford just tell everyone that she s*** in a bush last week? #LooseWomen,” one user questioned.

While some viewers found the admission shocking, others appreciated Ruth’s candidness, with many praising her for being open about an experience that, while embarrassing, is not entirely uncommon.

A Time of Change for Ruth Langsford

This surprising moment on Loose Women comes at a time of significant personal change for Ruth. Just last week, she spoke publicly for the first time about her divorce from long-time partner Eamonn Holmes.

Ruth and Eamonn, who had been together for 27 years and married for 14, confirmed their split last year. The former couple shares a 22-year-old son, Jack. Since their separation, Eamonn has moved on with dating counselor Katie Alexander, while Ruth remains publicly single.

Speaking to Woman & Home, Ruth opened up about how she is coping with the end of her marriage. “I’m alright,” she stated. “Relationship breakdowns are very difficult – marriage, friendship, whatever it is – but you just deal with it, and you have to move on.”

Rather than dwelling on the past, she has chosen to embrace her new chapter in life. “You can either let yourself crumble, or you pick yourself up and get on with life. It’s a choice,” she explained. While she acknowledged that she isn’t happy about the end of her marriage, she has come to terms with it. “I’ve accepted that my marriage is over, so I am trying to now embrace the fact that I’m single and can make choices that are just about me,” she added.

A Candid Moment from a TV Favorite

Ruth Langsford has long been admired for her professionalism and warmth on television, but her recent confession on Loose Women proved that even seasoned broadcasters have their unfiltered moments. While some viewers were taken aback by the admission, others appreciated her honesty and ability to laugh at herself.

As she navigates this new phase of her life post-divorce, it’s clear that Ruth is determined to move forward with resilience—and, as seen on Loose Women, a willingness to share even the most unexpected personal stories with her audience.
