Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing renewed legal battles after a fresh indictment filed on January 30, 2024, 

added sex trafficking charges to the list of serious allegations against the music mogul. 

Prosecutors have accused the 55-year-old of transporting women, including commercial sex workers, with the intent of engaging them in prostitution. 

They claim Combs, along with his associates, systematically manipulated 

and coerced women into participating in sexual activities, using drugs, intimidation, and financial control to maintain participation.

“The prosecution’s theory remains flawed. The government has added the ridiculous theory that two of Mr. Combs’ former girlfriends were not girlfriends at all but were prostitutes,” Agnifilo said. He also noted that no new offenses had been introduced in the latest filing and insisted that Combs remains committed to fighting the charges in court. “Mr. Combs is as committed as ever to fighting these charges and winning at trial,” Agnifilo concluded.

Combs previously pleaded not guilty to charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution following his arrest in September 2023. From his detention at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, Combs took to Instagram to assert his innocence. In a post, he denied the allegations, claiming that the accusations against him were part of a larger attempt to tarnish his reputation and legacy. He wrote, “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
