Legendary country superstar Reba McEntire has managed to stay cemented in American hearts — and hearts worldwide.

Really — for decades thanks to her undeniable talent, sparkling personality, and heart-warming smile. 

Over the years, Reba’s career has remained steady as both a singer and actor.

And the 68-year-old star hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down any time soon, which is just as well considering her age-defying energy — and complexion.

It may, therefore, come as some surprise to learn that the secret to her youthful glow is the religious use of her favorite moisturizer. 

“Love me some Watercress Hydration Cascade by Farmhouse Fresh. I apply before makeup and right after cleansing at night,” she told Closer Weekly in 2019. 

“I do a Hydra-Facial to give my skin an extra hug of plumpness,” the “Fancy” singer added.

Everyone can learn a thing or two from this country icon, as even at 68 years old, Reba lives confidently in her smooth, clear, and flawless skin. Intensive skin hydration has served her well if her makeup-free looks are anything to go by.

On October 28, 2020, Reba shared a rare makeup-free photo on Instagram with her partner, Rex Linn. One thing is clear: Reba’s consistent minimalist skincare routine has paid off, as the singer’s skin looks as youthful as ever. Not a single wrinkle stands out against her even skin tone and healthy flush. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with wrinkles, but it may be surprising to some that she doesn’t have many, if any. You can even make out a few adorable freckles across her nose and cheeks.

While some may claim that Botox injections play a factor in her perpetually plump skin, a 2009 interview reveals that the singer refuses to dabble in this now-commonplace cosmetic enhancement. “I don’t do Botox,” she told OK! Magazine at the time. “I just don’t do it. Everybody else can, it’s fine with me. I don’t. It’s botulism, so I didn’t want to put that in my body.” Although Reba was adamant about her stance, she respectfully added, “I think plastic surgery’s great if that’s what you want to do.”

In 2016, Reba shared a throwback photo with her film team in Oklahoma after shooting the music video for her song “Just Like Them Horses.” At the forefront of the group, Reba’s radiant smile truly emphasizes her natural glow. And as an Oklahoma native who grew up on her family’s ranch, we likely have nostalgia to thank for Reba’s larger-than-life grin.

Of course, her strict skincare regimen is also responsible for her plump skin, and this includes her use of Noazir, a Japanese skincare product. “I wash my face in the morning with their product, and moisturize very well,” she told OK! Magazine. She then revealed how she cleanses her face in the morning with Noazir and removes her makeup every night before bed. Her other skincare tips include wearing sunscreen and using makeup and skincare products that allow her skin to breathe. Her love for regular facials must also contribute to her luminous glow. “I get facials as regularly as I can, and drink lots of water,” she added.

According to a 2018 post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Reba’s mother, Jacqueline McEntire, played a central role in her love for singing. In one of the images, a young Reba can be seen posing for an impromptu photo with her mother in the kitchen. It’s clear as day that Reba inherited her age-defying complexion from her mother, and both members of the McEntire family have undeniably aged with grace. Reba’s mother sadly passed away in 2020, but she lived to a vivid 93 years old and aged remarkably well, as shown in this photo.

There’s no denying that Reba has inherited her mother’s beauty genes. Aside from some light eye makeup, Reba dons an otherwise foundation-free look that showcases her skin’s inherent glow.
