Former JLS star JB Gill has opened up about the controversy surrounding his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Wynne Evans, 

who was recently removed from the show’s live tour following an inappropriate comment directed at host Janette Manrara.

Wynne, best known for his role as the Go Compare opera singer, was initially given a warning 

after the incident but later stepped away from the tour and his BBC radio show amid growing backlash. 

He has since apologized and stated that he will be taking time off to focus on his well-being.

JB, who has been part of the Strictly live tour, expressed his sympathy for Wynne’s situation but remained careful about commenting directly on the controversy.

“When you’re part of a cast like that, it’s always difficult when you see someone go,” JB said. “Obviously, the circumstances kind of speak for themselves, and I can’t comment on that. But it is sad when you’re part of a big group.”

“I hope so,” JB said when asked if he thinks Wynne can come back from the scandal. “I think he’s going through a bit of a tough time at the minute. Obviously, I’m wishing him well and hoping he’ll be able to come back.”
