Vito Coppola made his return to television on Monday, appearing on This Morning for a cooking segment,

just days after he had to drop out of the Strictly Come Dancing tour due to a back injury. The 32-year-old professional dancer,
who had previously been part of the Strictly tour, left fans heartbroken when he announced that he would not be able to continue the tour.
His withdrawal came after suffering a back injury that forced him to step back from several performances earlier in January.

The news of Vito’s departure from the tour left his followers devastated, with many expressing their disappointment and concern for his well-being on social media.

In an emotional video message, Vito thanked his fans for their overwhelming support during such a difficult time.

“Thanks to you all, beautiful people, for the support, for the lovely messages, and for everything you constantly do for me,” Vito said. “You make me feel loved and warmly welcomed.”
Though Vito’s injury meant that he had to step down from the Strictly tour, he quickly found a way to lift his spirits and connect with fans by making an appearance on ITV’s This Morning on Monday. The dancer teamed up with hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard for a lively cooking segment, where he demonstrated how to make arancini balls, a popular Italian dish. Vito revealed that the recipe had been passed down from his Sicilian dance partner’s father.
He took a moment to share some fond memories of his Sicilian roots, explaining, “In Sicily, we used to go in the night, in the forest, you take the best wild mushrooms. You always want to put the parsley at the end, otherwise it becomes very bitter.” The segment was a lighthearted return for Vito, who appeared to be in high spirits despite the recent challenges he had faced. His cooking skills were well received by the presenters, and fans were thrilled to see him back on screen, albeit in a different setting.

This was not Vito’s first time on This Morning, as the professional dancer had previously appeared on the show after his win on Celebrity MasterChef last year. His appearances on the ITV show have endeared him even further to fans, who have come to appreciate his charm both on and off the dance floor.
While Vito’s absence from the Strictly tour left a gap, Nikita Kuzmin, his co-star on the show, has stepped in to take his place. Nikita, who has continued his role on the tour, recently shared how close he and Vito have become over the years. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Nikita expressed how he couldn’t imagine not staying in touch with Vito, even joking that they “are probably sleeping next to each other on Facetime.”
Despite taking over Vito’s role in the tour, Nikita made it clear that he holds no ill will and only wishes the best for his friend. “It is getting used to it. Obviously at the beginning, it is getting used to a new person,” Nikita explained, referring to his new dance partner, Sarah Hadland. He added that he had to reach out to Vito for guidance in order to dance in the same way Vito had, as he understood that Sarah and Vito had a special connection. “I need to ask Vito questions on how they do it, so I can help her,” Nikita said, revealing the close professional relationship he shares with Vito.

The bond between the two dancers is clearly strong, and Nikita also took the time to express his hopes that Vito would recover soon and return to the tour when he’s ready. “It’s wonderful. It’s actually really a blessing to dance with her. I wish Vito all the best and hope he comes back soon.”
While Vito’s recovery is the priority right now, his fans are clearly eager for his return to the stage. The support and admiration for the talented dancer continue to grow, and his positive attitude and sense of humor in the face of adversity have only endeared him further to the public. As Vito takes time to focus on his health and well-being, fans will be eagerly awaiting his eventual comeback, whether it’s on the Strictly stage or in future television appearances.
For now, though, fans can continue to follow Vito’s journey through his social media updates and enjoy his culinary skills on ITV’s This Morning. As Vito recovers, it’s clear that his resilience and passion for life will keep him connected with his audience, who are rooting for his speedy recovery.
