Tiger Woods is probably the greatest golf player of all time. And his fans are always eager to find new things about his life. but, Tiger likes to keep his private life secret.
However, fans of Tiger will be familiar with the more visible members of Tiger’s team. Like caddie Joe LaCava, agent Mark Steinberg, and best friend Rob McNamara.
But there are two four-legged members in the Tiger’s team that are not given full attention. And they are his two lovely dogs, Bugs and Lola.
Tiger has always appreciated animals throughout his career. And in one of the episodes (4th) of At Home With Tiger Woods series, the 15-time major championship winner introduced his dogs to all of his fans.
Tiger has a photograph with nearly every animal, from Kangaroos to elephants to camels to squirrels. Woods even has had a photoshoot with a snow tiger.
However, Tiger has an appreciation for all animals, but dogs have proved to be his true love.
Woods and family have had four dogs over the last decade so far. The first two dogs were Yogi and Taz. Yogi was an all-white Labradoodle, and Taz was a Border Collie. Actually, Tiger got Taz on his 30th birthday. But unfortunately, as Yogi and Taz got older, their health started to deteriorate. And finally, both the dogs left the Woods family in 2019.
Meanwhile, Tiger currently has two dogs at home, Bugs, and Lola. The family had adopted Bugs in 2015. Bugs is Border Collie and Springer Spaniel mix. Woods then got Lola, the same year Yogi and Taz left their family, in 2019. Lola is a little Australian Shepherd.
Tiger Woods loves his dogs so much that he even allows them to be on the greens with him. Moreover, he has even trained them to fetch his golf balls. Bugs is more experienced, while Lola is still a work in progress.
Moreover, Tiger Woods is not the only golfer who is a dog enthusiast, even Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas share their dog’s images and videos on Instagram regularly. So there are quite a few PGA Tour players who love and share an appreciation for animals, especially dogs.
