Gregg Wallace, the beloved former BBC presenter, has found himself at the heart of a public storm in the world of television cooking.

Wallace made a controversial statement claiming that the public outcry was driven by “middle-class women of a certain age,” further fueling anger and division. 

This comment sparked a secondary PR crisis, leading Wallace to apologize on Instagram, attributing his remarks to the intense pressure and emotional strain he was experiencing. 

Despite his apology, it seems Wallace’s reputation has suffered irreparably, as he faces the consequences of his actions and comments.
