Hero World Challenge is an annual charity event organized by Tiger Woods. Albany GC Stadium, Bahamas has been the host of the tournament for the past 5 years.

Hero World Challenge 2020 is scheduled to be held on December 3.

However, the covid-19 situation in the Bahamas requires this locality to limit crowded activities and focus on social distancing, forcing the organizers to cancel the tournament.

Tiger Woods started organizing the tournament in 2000.

This is a charity golf tournament for the TGR Foundation.

Tiger has won the tournament 5 times. Although not listed as an official tournament of the PGA Tour, the Hero World Challenge has been counted on the World Golf Ranking since 2009.

During that week, December 3, there was still a PGA Tour event held, the Mayakoba Golf Classic, taking place in Mexico.
