A cute video of Prince Harry teasing his wife, Meghan Markle, has gone viral, leaving fans gushing over their relationship.
In the video, the couple recounted their early days getting to know each other as Harry joked about Meghan for coming late to one of their first dates.
A video clip of Harry and Meghan recalling the early days of their romance is making the rounds on social media.
The clip is from their 2022 Netflix docuseries, “Harry & Meghan,” in which they discussed their dating history and provided never-before-seen clips of their relationship timeline.
In a particularly cute moment, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were talking about a meet-up in London, prompting Harry to tease Meghan for coming late.
“She was late,” Harry jokingly said, to which Meghan responded, “I was late?”
“Yeah, remember? You came rushing in from having a shower,” the duke noted.
Meghan remembered she had come from Wimbledon but noted it was only “like five minutes” and added, “I hate being late.”
“I was like, ‘You can be as late as you want; I ain’t moving,’” Harry added. The cute video clip ended with a carousel of the couple’s adorable moments together, including that kiss during the charity polo game.
The video, which has gotten over 80k likes on TikTok, left fans gushing about their relationship dynamics and how well they complement each other.
“They’re so good for each other…perfect soulmates,” a fan wrote, adding that it was “So cute teasing her…you get the impression she could be a bit uptight but nice to see them joke about one another.”
Another user said, “No matter what trolls say about you….you both stick together THAT’S LOVE.”
“So happy for Harry that he’s found love, a home, and family,” a third person shared.
Another royal fan wrote, “I love their love story! Wishing them all the love and success in the world.”
“Love them!” a fifth person commented, adding, “I will defend them no matter what. They don’t deserve the scrutiny they’ve been suffering for 4 years.”
The non-working royals have had to weather many storms together since their early dating days in 2016, especially the heavy media scrutiny that has plagued their marriage.
Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the royal family has also been strained, with many pointing accusatory fingers at the former “Suits” actress.
Ahead of the duke’s return to the UK in May for his Invictus Games 10th-anniversary event, Royal author Richard Fitzwilliams weighed in on the deep rift between the Sussexes and the royal family and the possibility of a reunion between Harry and his father, King Charles.
“The King has always kept the door open to Harry, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he would invariably get a warm reception,” Fitzwilliams told The U.S. Sun.
“It will take its time. But clearly, the situation has changed in recent weeks beyond all expectations,” he added.
The royal expert went on to note that “there’s a long way to go before Harry is bringing Meghan and the children” to the UK.
Fitzwilliams also discussed the deep rift between the warring brothers and the possibility of Harry meeting up with his once-beloved sister-in-law Kate Middleton on his trip across the pond.
Harry last stepped foot on UK soil in February when he made a quick trip to visit his father after his cancer diagnosis became public. It remains unclear if he’d check on Kate since this will be the first time they’ll be nearby after she revealed her own cancer struggles in a video message.
The royal expert said, “We don’t know, but Catherine is receiving preventative cancer treatment and there’s no doubt it’s a very very difficult time for her, and it’s most unlikely that she would want visitors who might be in some form controversial, whatever the intention.”
“William has a very deep rift with him and I don’t see it instantly being resolved,” he explained. “The Sussexes aren’t trusted by the Royal Family.”
According to the Daily Mail, the non-working royals will tour Nigeria in an unofficial capacity after accepting an invitation from the country’s Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Gwabin Musa, to take part in “traditional cultural activities.”
The scheduled visit to the West African country, their first together as a couple, has reportedly left the country’s defense headquarters feeling “honored” and “delighted,” as Harry and Meghan are lined up to meet service members and their families.
Nigeria is reportedly interested in hosting an Invictus Games sometime soon, and with Meghan revealing that she’s 43% Nigerian, their visit is sure to be a great experience for the former actress.
