The ongoing conflict between King Charles and Harry has Harry consistently talking about his f3ud with the Royal Family

King Charles and Prince William looked like they had “come ready for a fight” during a private meeting with Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex is no longer close with his brother or father after he made a number of bombshell claims about the Royal Family. However, Harry has tried to mend their relationship over the years.

Writing in his memoir Spare, Harry recalled how he had arranged to meet with William and Charles at Frogmore Cottage following the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip.

Harry was left waiting until Charles and William finally arrived and he claimed they didn’t look happy.

He explained how he tried to keep his “emotions in check” as he explained his side of the Royal Family feud. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse.

Harry wrote: “I’d vowed not to let this encounter devolve into another argument. But I quickly discovered that it wasn’t up to me.

“Pa and Willy had their parts to play, and they’d come ready for a fight. Every time I ventured a new explanation, started a new line of thought, one or both of them would cut me off.”

Harry said William in particular “didn’t want to hear anything” and claimed his brother shut him down several times. This led to an argument breaking out between the two feuding brothers.

The argument was ended by Charles who made a heartbreaking plea to his sons. Harry recalled: “It got so heated that Pa raised his hands. Enough! He stood between us, looking up at our flushed faces: Please, boys—don t make my final years a misery.”

Harry has not seen his brother in years and last met up with his father in February when the monarch was diagnosed with cancer. The Duke of Sussex had been expected to reunite with his father during his brief return to the UK earlier this month.

However, a spokesperson for Harry issued a statement to say that wouldn’t be happening. It read: “It, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
