BRIT actress Emma Watson has been transformed on the set of her new film Noah.

A modern take on the biblical tale, the English rose will be starring as Russell Crowe’s on-screen adopted daughter in the blockbuster.

As these recent snaps reveal Emma has been swept back to basics.

She’s lost the cool of her character Sam in Perks Of Being A Wallflower, and she shaded the lipgloss and glam of her teen thief role in Soffia Coppola’s The Bling Ring.

Wearing costume styled from course brown textiles, the actress best known for her role as Hermione Grainger in the Harry Potter saga sports tousled braid in her long hair.

The 23-year-old actress looks fresh-faced and stunning with au natural make up as she collects grass by the banks of a river.

Directed by Darren Aronfsky, Noah is the story of the biblical flooding as you’ve never heard it before.

The title role is played by Hollywood A-lister Crowe, after having a vision of an apocalyptic deluge, Noah takes drastic measures to protect his family from the coming floods.

The film also features Jennifer Connolly, Anthony Hopkins and new brit actor Douglas Booth.
