Jennifer Lawrence was spotted in New York City during a casual outing with her husband and son in tow, only days after revealing the difficult experience she had filming with Timothee Chalamet.
Paparazzi photos taken on Sunday, October 22, showed the Hunger Games actress dressed in a red hoodie with a black coat draped overtop.
She kept a low-profile with dark sunglasses and a hat placed over her blonde hair.
Jennifer was pushing a stroller, while her husband Cooke Mulroney trailed behind with their 1-year-old son, Cy, who the couple welcomed in February 2022.
Cooke, who has been married to Jennifer since 2019, was dressed in an all-black outfit, except for a white baseball cap.
The couple’s son wore a black puffer jacket and jeans with a green t-shirt peeking out from beneath.
Jennifer has been relatively silent following Timothee Chalamet’s recent comments on working together alongside Leonardo DiCaprio for the film Don’t Look Up.
Speaking to GQ, Timothee began by reflecting on how difficult it was working during the COVID pandemic when quarantine protocols doubled the time it to film. While working on Don’t Look Up, Timothee explained that he ended up spending more time in quarantine than actually filming. His trip to Boston for the film in 2020 entailed a 14-day quarantine as per COVID protocols.
When he finally made it to the set, he was genuinely excited to work and engage with fellow humans once more. However, Timothee says his fervor was somewhat unsettling to certain co-stars, Jennifer Lawrence included.
“By the time I got to set I was buzzing,” the actor explained. “That was the day Jennifer said was the most annoying day of her life, working with me and Leo. I exploded out of my room.”
However, it’s possible that Lawrence’s irritation might have been magnified by the fact that she indulged in marijuana on set to better understand her stoner character.
During the film’s promotion, she playfully mentioned how her altered state made her a frequent subject of pranks. “I was a real target,” she said. “Everyone was f**king with me. … I guess because I was high. Easy to f**k with.”
Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t the only celebrity Timothee opened up about during his GQ interview. He also mentioned that Tom Cruise sent him an email with acting advice as well as a list of industry professionals to help boost his career, a move Timothee says he’s thankful for.
“After I met Tom Cruise, right after finishing the first Dune, he sent me the most wonderfully inspiring email,” the Dune star revealed “He basically said, in Old Hollywood, you would be getting dance training and fight training, and nobody is going to hold you to that standard today. So, it’s up to you.” Timothee added, “The email was really like a war cry.”
For now, neither Tom Cruise nor Jennifer Lawrence have reacted to Timothee’s comments.
