Tina Knowles gives rare update on Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins: ‘They go to ‘psychological treatment’ every month’ (video)

Tina Knowles shared a rare update about her daughter Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 6-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.

“Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator. How could they be anything else growing up in that environment?

All we talk about is creativity and fashion,” the fashion designer told E! News Saturday at the 2024 Kentucky Derby.

She described Sir as “very, very smart” but more on the “quiet” side.

“[He] does all of the numbers stuff, so he’s not into fashion as much,” she explained.

Tina, 70, also took the opportunity to rave about Beyoncé’s recent venture into country music with the release of her chart-topping album, “Cowboy Carter.”

“We’re from Texas. We’ve been part of that culture for a long time, and I was very excited about it. She has this way of doing things subtly but educating, and so I’m really proud of that,” she said.

Tina previously gave some insight into what her twin grandchildren were like, telling Us Weekly in 2019 that Rumi was “going to rule the world,” while Sir was more “laid-back and chill.”

Beyoncé, 42, has shared only a few glimpses of her youngest children over the years, including in her Ivy Park campaigns, her “Renaissance” tour footage, photos on social media and her music.

The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer included Rumi’s voice in the song “Protector” on her new album.

“Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?” she asks at the beginning of the track.

Rumi seems to be following in her older sister Blue Ivy’s footsteps, as the 12-year-old also has appeared in several of her parents’s songs.

Blue Ivy even received a Grammy Award for her feature on “Brown Skin Girl” in 2019 when she was just 7 years old.

The preteen went on to dance onstage with her mom during her “Renaissance” tour last summer –– despite Queen Bey initially telling her not to join her.

Beyoncé later revealed in her “Renaissance” concert film that her eldest daughter had read posts online that criticized her “lackluster moves,” so she “train[ed] even harder” for the rest of the tour.
